New Life Ministry

New Life Ministry exists to nurture and equip moms
—from pregnancy through preschool—
to be rooted in Christ and built up in Him by providing practical support, spiritual encouragement, and an enriching community. Together, we pursue God and hold fast to His Word as we disciple our children in His ways.

New Life Ministry

What we do to support moms

We believe motherhood is a calling, and no mom should walk it alone. New Life Ministry is here to help the moms of Mount Calvary Church grow in Christ, build friendships, and receive the practical support they need—so they can become stronger followers of Christ and, in turn, can disciple their children in His way

  • Walk with moms through every stage

    • Pregnancy, Delivery, & Postpartum: Receive one-on-one communication and prayer support throughout. Join a group chat with other moms who are expecting or have a newborn. Receive a meal train postpartum. Be visited postpartum, with gifts!
    • Year of Support: Continued one-on-one communication and prayer support. Receive resources for church connection and community.
    • Up through Kindergarten (5 years old): Get connected with our regular gatherings, as well as our special events. Get connected to the church as a whole through grow groups, community groups, Bible studies, and serving.
  • Build Community & Encourage Moms

    • Moms' Gatherings:  Bi-annual breakfast events featuring speakers, encouragement, and discussion.
    • Coffee & Chaos Meet-ups:  Casual gatherings to build friendships and support one another.
    • Group Text & Church Connection: Providing a space for shared experiences, prayer and connection.
  • Provide practical support

    • Meal Train Ministry:  Home delivered meals for families welcoming a new baby.

    • Clothing & Diaper Closet: Limited supply of essentials (preemie–2T clothing, NB–12mo diapers) for moms in need, including those in adoption, foster care, or financial hardship.

    • Needs ministry: Reach out with any specific needs, and we will do our best to help you meet those needs.

  • Transitioning moms beyond New life

    • Moms "graduate" when their youngest child enters kindergarten.
    • Opportunity to continue in the ministry as a Mentor Mom, encouraging and supporting new moms.
