Welcome to New Horizons!  A ministry for the 50+ crowd at Mount Calvary Church. As we get closer to being empty nesters and retirement, we are entering a new season with new experiences on the horizon. 

Join us the third Wednesday of every month (Sept - May) for a time of encouragement, food, and fellowship starting at 10:30AM  at the Ministry Center (45 Veterans Drive Elizabethtown) 

Doors open at 10:00AM for fellowship.


Lunch will be served ($5 recommended payment)

Upcoming Dates

New Horizons typically meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month September - April.

Mount Calvary Christian School

Join us on January 21, 2026 as we hear from some students at Mount Calvary Christian School. Come hear how God is working in and through our school ministry.

Doors open at 10:00 and the program will begin at 10:30.

February Outing

In February, the group will be heading to Dienner's Country Restaurant in Soudersburg, PA for lunch. We will meet at the Ministry Center and drive together in vans or car pool. Or you can meet at the restaurant.


Meet at the Ministry Center at 11 or at the restaurant at 11:45. 

Cost $23 includes meal, drinks, and tip

Birds

Join us on March 18, 2026 when we will hear from Lisa Sanchez, a Senior Naturalist from the Lancaster County Parks Department's Environmental Education Center as she shares with us about native birds.

December Outing

American Music Theater Outing

New Horizons is planning a Christmas outing to the American Music Theater on Wednesday December 17 to see their annual Christmas show entitled "Deck the Halls".


We have a block of tickets reserved for the 10:30AM show. You can meet us at the Ministry Center at 9:00 AM to ride together in the vans or  you can meet us at the theater at 10AM.

Following the show, we will enjoy lunch at Gus's Restaurant in Mt Joy (each paying on your own). 


All of our tickets have been claimed for this year. If you are still interested, see Sandy Stone to be added to the waiting list in case someone is unable to attend.
